The Tweed Shire Council Traffic Committee has recommended that Council permit 55.5 tonne B-Double trucks to pass through Murwillumbah via Kyogle Road and Riverview Drive.
Trucks that size are not currently permitted.
Not surprisingly, it is the water mining industry that is applying to use these very large trucks in our community.
There has been no public process and no consideration of the rights of residents. Ignored as usual.
